AI's Impact on SDGs Forum Kicks Off on Oct. 19

A few days ago, SpaceX's Starship successfully caught the returning rocket. The reusability of the booster can make space travel more affordable. This exciting triumph is amazing and will have a great impact we cannot even forsee right now. Meanwhile, to make our world a better place, technology needs to be the solution, not the driver. What is the problem we want to solve? How can we use the power of AI to achieve our ultimate goal of peace and prosperity on earth?

This weekend, youths from around the world are coming together in the Buddies Without Borders Online Forum to find answers to this question. To guide our thinking and set the stage are two leaders in the AI solutions field: Miao Song and Lisa Brunet.

Miao Song, our Section One kick-off speaker, is one of the 2024 GlobalCIO 100 award winners. She led the development of technology for multiple global brands including Mars, Johnson&Johnson, Shell and Nestle. She is currently the Global Chief Information Officer and Executive Committee member at GLP, an international business builder based in Singapore.

Miao has been living and working in China, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Singapore and Belgium, etc. She is a strong sponsor and supporter of Diversity and Inclusiveness, she headed the Netherlands D&I council, also led IT Women Leadership Institution in Johnson & Johnson and sponsored Mars Digital D&I initiative.

Lisa Brunet, our Section Two Kick-off speaker, is the CEO and Founder of several technology companies offering innovative technology solutions for organizations leveraging AI.   She is the CEO of DLZP Group, working closely with Amazon Web Services, Oracle, and

Canon.

of AI to create impactful and forward-thinking services.
