In just four days, student representatives from 25 countries will come together and work across borders to investigate how food waste exacerbates climate change while millions of people go hungry every day all around the world, and what can they do about it as future leaders.
To help our students see the big picture and start brainstorming specific solutions for their assigned countries is a circular economy expert, Mr. Zack Abdi. Mr. Abdi is leading a panel discussion on the Net Zero Economy in the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in November 2023 in Dubai.
We are honored to share that he will be on our panel as well to evaluate the final proposals from our forum participants.
Mr. Abdi advocates for the green and circular economy to promote sustainability. He believes in the necessity of human capital development for sustainable human resources. He directs Provectus’ efforts in developing renewable energy storage systems to alternative energy, including biodiesel, aerosol cans recycling solution, and organic food waste recycling, as well as Corporate Sustainability Responsibility (CSR) training to tools designed to monitor, measure, mitigate carbon and water footprint.
Thank you, Mr. Abdi! We are ready to kick off! Please visit Buddies Without Borders Online Forums to see our next global topic.
