Destination: Germany

When it comes to global thinkers and makers, Germans stand out like no others. From Albert Einstein to Angela Merkel, we are impressed by many Germans' discipline and creativity. What is it like studying in Germany? We will find out this weekend from our next workshop guest speaker, Ms. Kamilla (Kam) Shagazatova.

Kam is studying robotics in the Applied Science program at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. She is working with her team to create a school program in partnership with the Society of women in STEM. The workshop is open to parents, counselors and students. Here is the Interest Form for this and future workshops. Thanks! Kam!

The ability to design a system that encourages positive behaviors is the core of our Forum Social Media for Global Good. This weekend all teams will present their concepts in the Forum for feedback in a recorded rehearsal. The rehearsal exercise will give all teams an opportunity to improve on their project before the final presentation scheduled on January 16. The team list is here.

You will have a chance to vote for your favorite idea in Global Community. For a preview of what to expect, check out the final presentations in the last Forum.

Next up: Good Health and Well-being for Teens. We hope you will join us to make the world a happier place.
