Think Globally, Act Locally.  Global Goals can only be achieved by global citizens with local sensitivity.  Given the opportunity, we asked the participants of the Local Actions for Global Goals Buddies Without Borders Online Forum what change project they would create in their own community to help make the world a better place, and here are their answers.

"Education is often called the great equalizer, yet for millions of students worldwide, it remains an unfulfilled promise.......To bridge this gap, we created EduConnection, a student-led platform that enables knowledge-sharing, tutoring, and mentorship among students worldwide. ~ Team The Ark

"Achieving universal access to high-quality education is not only an ideal; it is essential for the advancement of the world. Significant progress can be made in guaranteeing that every child has access to an education that is both relevant and empowering through the implementation of innovative educational models, the integration of digital learning, and deliberate policy reforms."~ Team Learn for Life

"Equitable policies—fair wages, anti-discrimination laws, and resource distribution—drive systemic change. Together, education, governance, and policy reform transform inequality from an ingrained issue into a solvable challenge, fostering a more just society." ~ Team ZLDC: Peace Makers

"...making our community more eco-friendly and more eco-conscious. They create a sustainable, inclusive space that strengthens community ties and resilience, ensuring our neighborhood thrives as a model of thoughtful stewardship for all." ~ Team Future Forward

"Conflict, injustice, and weak institutions, is one of the greatest barriers to development of societies worldwide. Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16) focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive communities, ensuring justice is accessible to all, and establishing institutions that are effective, transparent, and representative at all levels." ~ Team Voices for Change

"SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions underpins all the SDGs, and indeed, all positive change one can wish to make. For isn’t the ultimate goal of each SDG to make society as peaceful and just as possible? ~ Team Fusion and Frets
