Did you know that in the USA alone, more than 2,000 pieces of clothes are dumped into trash EVERY SECOND? (Earth.org) Globally, the production of throw-away garments is responsible for 20% of global water waste, and the disposal of cheap materials creates microplastic that pollutes the ocean at an unimaginable speed. However, it is undeniable that fast fashion brings jobs and the low prices make consumers happy.
