Eliminating poverty and stopping climate change may be complicated, but preventing food from going to waste can be done by any individual every single day. According to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), not wasting food is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to reduce poverty and help with reducing greenhouse gas (GHS) emissions.
From donating food to home composting, from city farming to community garden, in October we will challenge teens around the world to brainstorm as equal global citizens and find ways to achieve Zero Hunger Zero Waste in some of the countries that can make the most impact.
