Winners on Track with International Internships

This year, Buddies Without Borders have produced three international internship teams. These teams are mentored by Leadership Initiatives (sponsored by Starbucks, Microsoft and Amazon) and are on three tracks respectively: Business, Public Health and Human Rights.

Today we will shine the spotlight on the Business Team so that you can see how these amazing students are learning real skills and helping to change people's lives:

Noella Horo (Singapore International School, India), Rohan Kumar (Wheeler High, USA), Joy Yang (Tsai Hsing Private High School, Taiwan), Cami Valda Estremadoyro (St. Andrew’s School, Bolivia) and Danika Naidoo (Waitakere College, New Zealand) have been learning the skills to help create and sustain businesses in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Through their work, local vulnerable men and women are developing vocational and business skills which will empower them to escape extreme poverty.

Please join us in congratulating these young changemakers! Click here to read more and see how you can support their effort.

We hope to help nurture more passionate changemakers among teens. Opportunities are knocking now, all you need to do is to answer the call. Join us for the March 2022 Forum and show us what you can do!
